So you have heard of green smoothie benefits and you are ready to get started. How do we do it?

First off when you are ready to mix in some greens with your fruits, start off small so that your taste buds get a chance to adjust to your new healthy habit. This is particularly true if you’re coming from a mostly fast-food or processed-foods diet. So you can start off with 10-20% greens and 90-80% fruits and then gradually increase the portion of greens in your smoothie. So I’m going to share with you a few easy and tasty green smoothie recipes and then later on we’ll get into the more hardcore stuff.

Green Smoothie Recipe # 1:

Put in 1 cup spinach in your Vitamix blender
Add 4 ripe peaches with the pits removed
Add 1 cup ice

Blend to perfection by turning the machine on, and increasing speed to 10, and then high. Blend for about one minute. Serve in your favorite glass and enjoy.

To your health.
